Immediately after moving to St. Petersburg, Florida I could tell this place was special. Growing up in Sarasota, just a short 45 minutes south, I always had an apprecaition for Florida. However, it wasn’t until being located in the heart of downtown St. Pete where I truly felt taken by a city. It’s no secret that over the past few years the St. Pete/Tampa Bay area has been growing and flourishing. With these expansions came restaurants, bars, events, and shops that have made this area so desirable and now one of the fastest growing cities in Florida.

With all of the wonderful locations and events in the area, the city became the perfect backdrop for my blog, Rooftop Collective.
Aiming to answer everything from the “why make this cocktail bar THE place to start ladies night” to “where in St. Pete should I bring my out-of-town friends for dinner?” type of questions I get asked, Rooftop Collective was created to simply capture the magic of the St. Pete and Tampa Bay area.

Personally, I have always had a thing for rooftop bars. There is just something special about getting in an elevator and hitting the top floor button to then be greated by a bird’s eye view of the city.
The only thing making any view like that better is a craft cocktail in-hand and some great friends to soak it all in with. That very feeling is something I aim to embody with each post. So, sit back, relax and order a post-on-your-feed-worthy cocktail and start living your life elevated.
